Windows System Engineer (m/f/d)
Our ROCKEN partner is a renowned IT service company specialising in providing solutions from the comprehensive Microsoft product range. Our expertise includes, among other things, virtualisation, firewall setup, and network installation. With a holistic approach, we plan, implement, and operate IT infrastructures both on-site and in the cloud, working closely with Microsoft’s innovative technologies.
Role:
As a Windows System Engineer, you will manage diverse IT environments for business clients. You can expect a broad technology field including Windows Server, virtualisation, networking, and backup. No day is the same because every client environment has its own story. You will work closely with a well-coordinated team and contribute your ideas directly.
Responsibilities:
You administer and maintain server systems, networks, firewalls, and backup solutions.
You monitor the systems and ensure stable operation.
You classify faults, analyse causes, and resolve them sustainably.
Furthermore, you implement solutions in close collaboration with clients and the team.
You support projects related to virtualisation and security.
You also document changes and keep the system landscapes up to date.
Qualifications:
You have completed vocational training in the IT field.
You have solid knowledge in operating server systems, Active Directory, and Exchange.
You are well acquainted with the Windows Server and client environment.
Experience with network, firewall, virtualisation, and backup solutions rounds off your profile.
Knowledge of Microsoft 365 (M365) and Azure is a plus.
You communicate confidently in Swiss German, understand English well, and hold a category B driving licence.
