About the job
Our client combines two worlds that fit together perfectly: professional industrial production and vocational training with a social mission.
On one side are customer orders, quality, deadlines, calculations and a functioning production planning. On the other side are young people finding their place in the professional world, acquiring expertise and developing personally.
For this special environment, we want to attract a technically skilled person who understands production, thinks in an organised way and gladly takes responsibility. Therefore, we are looking for from January 2027 or earlier a
Technical Clerk AVOR / Production Planning 80-100% (m/f/d) - Machines can be planned. Young people cannot...
Your task:
- You are an important hub between customers, administration and production and accompany technical orders from inquiry to delivery.
- You record and process orders in the ERP system, prepare quotations and order confirmations, organise the necessary documents and take care of delivery notes as well as technical documentation.
But pure clerical work would be a rather incomplete description of your task.
- You clarify customer needs, check technical feasibility together with specialists, procure necessary raw materials and ensure that orders flow sensibly and realistically into production.
- A significant part of your role is therefore in AVOR and production planning. You coordinate dates, materials and capacities, continuously liaise with production and keep an overview even when several orders demand your attention simultaneously.
In short: You ensure that proper planning is done upfront so that proper production can take place at the back end.
What you bring:
- Your professional background lies in mechanics or a comparable technical environment. You are particularly interesting for our client if you have practical experience in manufacturing and therefore know not only theoretically what is technically feasible.
- Knowledge of CNC machining is a clear advantage.
- Perhaps you have already pursued technical or commercial further education, for example at HF level or as a Technical Salesperson with a federal certificate of competence. Perhaps you are currently in the middle of such further training. Both are suitable.
- Experience in AVOR, production planning, production coordination or technical order processing will facilitate your entry. Equally important are good technical and commercial understanding as well as confident handling of ERP systems.
- You communicate straightforwardly and professionally with customers, work in a structured and independent manner and do not lose track even with several parallel orders.
And one more thing is important:
This position has an additional dimension. You work in an environment where vocational training is consciously lived. Young people gain practical experience here and are accompanied on their way into the working world.
You do not have to be a vocational trainer. However, personal maturity, a sense of responsibility, patience and a natural, respectful approach to young people are required. Anyone who enjoys not only applying professional experience but also passing it on through their own behaviour will feel comfortable in this environment.
What to expect:
A versatile role between office and production, technology and organisation, customer needs and feasible reality. And an employer where economic thinking and social responsibility are not contradictory.
