On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial-minded individual as Construction Foreman: Civil and Road Construction. You will independently lead demanding construction sites and bear operational responsibility from work preparation through execution to billing and post-calculation. In addition to managing personnel, machinery and other resources, you ensure compliance with costs, deadlines, quality and occupational safety. The position offers high personal responsibility as well as the opportunity to take on additional leadership responsibility as Deputy Head of Civil Engineering.
Responsibilities:
Independent leadership and management of civil and road construction projects
Responsibility for work preparation (AVOR) and site organisation
Planning and coordination of personnel, machinery, materials and subcontractors
Leadership and support of site employees
Management of the entire construction process from takeover to project completion
Responsibility for compliance with costs, deadlines and execution quality
Ensuring and monitoring occupational safety and quality standards
Preparation of measurements and construction billing
Conducting post-calculations and project controlling
Monitoring profitability and early detection of deviations
Processing and coordination of claims and additional services
Communication with clients, site management, planners, suppliers and other project partners
Support or deputy for the head of civil engineering
Participation in optimising construction processes and resource deployment
Qualifications:
Training as construction foreman, civil technician HF, civil engineer FH or comparable qualification
Professional experience in civil and road construction is an advantage
Experience in independent leadership and management of construction sites
Knowledge in calculation, measurement, billing and post-calculation is an advantage
Good knowledge of cost, deadline and quality management
Leadership skills and confident handling of site personnel
Strong entrepreneurial and economic thinking
Analytical skills and networked thinking
Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
Confident and professional appearance towards clients and project partners
Good German language skills spoken and written
