MES Infrastructure Team Manager FR-EN (M/F)

Our client is a world-renowned industrial company, with its headquarters and administrative offices in Geneva. Its products are entirely developed and manufactured in Switzerland and then distributed through an extensive network of subsidiaries across the 5 continents.

In order to improve its production processes, it has implemented a state-of-the-art Manufacturing Execution System and now wishes to strengthen the team in charge of this platform by creating a new position of

MES Infrastructure Team Manager FR-EN (M/F)

The role requires skills in team management (7 employees), IT platform management, as well as a very good knowledge of the industrial sector and more specifically the MES environment.

Your mission will be to coordinate the team of administrators of the infrastructure hosting the MES solutions, to personally intervene on the said infrastructure, to ensure maximum availability and to oversee, with your team, its development.

Profile sought

• Higher education in computer science (university engineer or HES)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in administering an MES platform
• Experience in software development at some point in your career
• Experience as a systems administrator/engineer in environments offering high availability
• Experience in management as a team lead or manager
• DevOps approach and Infrastructure as Code
• Good command of French and English (minimum B2 for both languages)
• Swiss nationality, valid work permit or citizen of the European Union
