Role:
On behalf of a client, we are seeking an experienced professional as Project Manager Heating / Renovation and Heat Pump Replacement for the independent planning and realisation of demanding heating renovations, heating modernisations and heat pump projects in a future-oriented building technology environment. You will take on the technical, organisational and economic responsibility for small to medium construction projects from quotation through to installation coordination, commissioning and final billing. You will lead installation teams, coordinate material procurement and site processes, and ensure compliance with quality, cost, schedule and safety requirements. The position combines heating technology, renewable heat generation, renovation project management and operational installation management with direct customer consulting and diverse development opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Project management of heating renovations: Independent planning, organisation and realisation of heating renovations, heating replacement projects and modernisations of existing heat generation systems
Heat pump replacement and heating systems: Technical project planning and coordination of the replacement of existing heating systems with air-water, brine-water and other suitable heat pump systems
Site and installation coordination: Management of small to medium HVAC sites as well as organisation of installation processes and coordination with involved trades
Technical planning and dimensioning: Design of heat generators, heating circuits, storage systems, piping and hydraulic components
Quotation and calculation: Preparation of quotations, cost estimates, supplementary offers, project calculations and final accounts
Professional team leadership: Deployment planning, coordination and professional leadership of heating installers, service technicians and external installation partners
Material procurement and disposition: Determination of material requirements, ordering of heat pumps, fittings, piping systems and installation materials as well as monitoring delivery dates
Schedule and cost management: Preparation and control of installation schedules, project budgets, construction progress and cost developments
Quality and occupational safety: Ensuring compliance with SUVA safety regulations, technical quality standards and applicable installation guidelines
Customer consulting and project support: Technical advice to private customers, administrations and builders on heating replacement, energy efficiency and economical renovation solutions
Construction journal and project documentation: Keeping construction journals, reports, material records, supplementary documentation and project billing
Commissioning and system handover: Coordination of functional tests, hydraulic balancing, heat pump commissioning and technical acceptance
Qualifications:
Education: Completed apprenticeship as heating installer EFZ, building technology planner heating EFZ or comparable training in building technology
Further education: Qualification as certified technician HF building technology, building technology engineer FH, chief heating installer or comparable technical further education advantageous
Professional experience: Several years of practical experience in planning, execution and project management of heating and HVAC renovation projects
Heat pump technology: Profound knowledge of heat pump systems, heating replacement, hydraulic integration, heat distribution and energy-efficient heat generation
Project and installation management: Experience in site coordination, installer deployment planning, material disposition, calculation and project billing
Standards and software: Knowledge of relevant SIA standards, Swiss energy and safety regulations as well as confident use of Microsoft 365 and common building technology or project administration software
Languages: Fluent German skills in spoken and written form
