Responsibilities:
- Development and implementation of automation solutions for innovative products and processes in research and development.
- Programming and commissioning of PLC controls, especially with Siemens S7 or CODESYS.
- Conducting tests and trials to validate the functionality and performance of automation systems.
- Close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement automation concepts.
- Optimisation of existing automation systems through continuous improvement and innovation.
- Documentation of development processes and results according to internal guidelines.
- Training and supporting employees in the operation and maintenance of automation technologies.
- Participation in conferences and training to stay up to date with current developments in automation technology.
Qualifications:
- Completed studies in electrical engineering, automation, or a comparable qualification.
- Solid knowledge in programming PLC controls, ideally with Siemens S7 or CODESYS.
- Experience in developing and implementing automation solutions, preferably in research and development.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Teamwork and good communication skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and methods.
- Independent and structured working style.
- Very good German skills; additional languages are an advantage.
