Accounts Payable Accountant (m/f/d), 50%

• Ensuring proper and timely document management (e.g. checking and processing invoices/credit notes and down payments)
• Timely clarification and follow-up of invoices with quantity and price deviations, including recovery of debtor balances and unallocated funds
• Monitoring goods receipt/invoice verification and timely balancing of the GRIR account
• Timely support and customer-oriented service for incoming enquiries and issues from stakeholders
• Proactively liaising with all necessary functional areas to ensure appropriate accounting, financial practices and reporting
• Supporting month-end closing activities
• Carrying out initiatives for Swiss companies and supporting them while ensuring compliance with global standards in the P2P area.
• Proactively questioning the status quo and providing fact-based recommendations.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and SOX 404

• Bachelor's degree or similar qualification in business administration / accounting.
• Languages: English > very good spoken and written as well as good German and/or French skills
• At least 5 years of professional experience
• Ideally 3 - 5 years of experience in finance, preferably in a shared service centre environment
• SAP knowledge required (FI/MM)
