Draftsperson Specialising in Architecture (m/f/d)

Role:

On behalf of a client, we are seeking a qualified professional for architectural planning and independent project handling in a versatile architectural firm. You will create project, building permit, and execution plans for demanding construction projects in residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural construction. Your main tasks include CAD planning with Archicad, constructive detail work, and coordination with authorities and specialist planners. The position combines technical architectural planning, independent project handling, and support of project management across all relevant planning phases.

Responsibilities:

• Independent creation and processing of architectural plans for new build, conversion, and renovation projects in residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural construction

• Development of preliminary project, construction project, building permit, and execution plans according to the relevant SIA service phases

• Digital planning and building modelling with Archicad including floor plans, sections, elevations, and three-dimensional building models

• Creation of constructive detail and working drawings for building envelopes, façades, structural connections, and interior fittings

• Collaboration in the development and optimisation of architectural solutions considering functional, technical, and economic requirements

• Preparation and compilation of building permit documents including plans, evidence, and project-specific documentation

• Conducting clarifications with municipal and cantonal building authorities regarding building regulations, approval procedures, and project-specific requirements

• Coordination and integration of specialist planner documents from structural engineering, building services, and building physics

• Support of project management in technical project execution including planning coordination, schedule monitoring, and documentation

• Review and quality assurance of plan documents regarding completeness, scale accuracy, constructive implementation, and applicable building regulations

• Processing plan changes and project adjustments in coordination with architects, specialist planners, and clients

• Creation and maintenance of digital project documentation as well as structured management of plan versions and revision documents

Qualifications:

• Completed vocational training as a draftsperson EFZ specialising in architecture, alternatively a completed architecture degree FH/ETH or equivalent qualification

• Professional experience in architectural planning and plan processing, ideally in a Swiss architectural firm

• Very good user knowledge of Archicad for 2D plan processing and 3D building modelling

• Sound knowledge in the creation of construction project, building permit, and execution plans as well as in constructive detail work

• Knowledge of Swiss building regulations and relevant SIA service phases as well as experience with official clarifications and approval procedures

• Confident use of Microsoft Office and experience in coordinating and integrating specialist planner documents

• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form for technical documentation, correspondence with authorities, and coordination with project participants
