Senior Information Security Manager & ISMS (m/f/d)
Role:
Our client operates in a demanding environment where the protection of sensitive data and the reliable operation of complex IT systems are of the highest priority. To further develop the security organisation, an experienced professional is sought who combines technical security architecture with governance and operational implementation. In this role, you are responsible for central processes of information security management, assess cyber risks, and coordinate appropriate protective measures. You work closely with IT departments and interdisciplinary project teams and sustainably shape the security standards.
Responsibilities:
Responsibility for the operation and further development of the Information Security Management System (ISMS) as well as the implementation of the ISDS process
Identification, analysis, and assessment of vulnerabilities and cyber risks as well as prioritisation of appropriate protective measures
Review of the effectiveness of security measures through controls, evaluations, and meaningful reporting
Specification and monitoring of IT security governance requirements as well as development of economically and technically viable solutions
Escalation of relevant security deviations and new risks to the responsible parties
Further development of SOC services, especially in the area of use case engineering and vulnerability management
Ensuring services for security awareness and IT emergency preparedness
Qualifications:
University of applied sciences degree in computer science with a focus on IT security or a comparable qualification
Extensive experience with enterprise security architecture and information security management systems
Very good knowledge of security governance, security processes, and relevant technologies
Structured and forward-looking analysis of complex security issues as well as experience in risk assessment
Ability to develop practical and economically sensible security solutions
Clear communication, persuasiveness, and integrative skills in dealing with different stakeholders
Independent, careful, and quality-conscious working style as well as good German language skills
