Project Manager (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF125,000 - 130,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager in Construction Management / Client Representation for the independent management of demanding construction projects of various sizes and complexities. You will accompany projects from concept and planning through to realisation and handover, representing the interests of the client towards planners, contractors and authorities. The focus is on the professional management of costs, schedules, quality, contracts and project risks as well as transparent decision-making and reporting. The position offers a high degree of responsibility and direct influence on the successful development and implementation of the projects.
Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for the management and control of construction projects from conception to completion
Professional client consulting and client representation in all relevant project phases
Coordination and leadership of architects, specialist planners, engineers, contractors and authorities
Management and monitoring of costs, schedules, quality and project objectives
Creation and maintenance of project budgets, schedules, forecasts and project status reports
Implementation of systematic risk, change and claim management
Preparation and management of tendering, awarding and contract processes
Conducting negotiations with clients, planners, companies, suppliers and service providers
Leading project, planning and coordination meetings and consistent follow-up of decisions
Ensuring compliance with relevant SIA standards, contracts and building regulations
Regular reporting to clients, principals and internal decision-makers
Accompanying the realisation up to acceptance, handover, defect rectification and project completion
Qualifications:
Completed studies as FH/ETH Architect, FH/ETH Civil Engineer or comparable higher technical construction education
Several years of professional experience in project management and control of demanding construction projects
Sound knowledge in construction management, construction cost planning, contract law and Swiss building law
Confident handling of relevant SIA standards and Swiss construction processes
Experience in client representation, tendering, awarding and negotiation
Good user knowledge of Messerli, MS Project and MS Office or comparable project management systems
Fluent German skills in spoken and written form
