Job Description

To strengthen our family team at KWS Suisse SA, we are looking for a committed and service-oriented individual as Agricultural Marketing Specialist (m/f/d).

In this versatile role, you will shape our marketing activities for customers, farmers and trade partners in Switzerland, operating in an exciting B2B and B2C environment. You will be responsible for planning and implementing marketing measures, customer events and variety demonstrations, and will significantly contribute to sales success through building and maintaining sustainable customer and partner relationships.

The position is permanent and includes a workload of 40-60%. The future workplace is located in the Zurich region or the Zurich Oberland. Currently, our office is centrally located in Basel, just a few minutes’ walk from Basel SBB station.

Your tasks:

• Planning and implementation of marketing campaigns as well as management of social media activities

• Organisation and execution of customer events (e.g. T&T, AGRAMA) and customer harvest events

• Planning and support of internal and external variety demonstrations

• Collaboration with customers, trade partners and the field sales team

• Professional supervision of a marketing intern

• Close coordination with internal interfaces, especially the team in Einbeck

Your profile

• Completed degree with a focus on marketing or a comparable qualification

• Initial professional experience in a comparable marketing or communications role is an advantage; experience in the agricultural sector, an agricultural science education or an agricultural background is a plus

• High service and customer orientation as well as strong communication and teamwork skills

• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

• Structured, independent and careful working style with a high awareness of quality

• Strong organisational skills as well as the ability to prioritise and coordinate several tasks simultaneously

• High level of initiative, sense of responsibility and hands-on mentality

• Fluent German and French skills as well as good English skills in spoken and written form

• Willingness to travel up to 20% within Switzerland and abroad; category B driving licence is an advantage

• Flexibility and commitment during seasonal peak periods, especially in February and March
