Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced specialist to lead and implement demanding HVAC projects in chemical plant construction and industrial environments. You will be responsible for projects from technical conception and design through procurement and assembly to commissioning and handover to operations. The focus is on plant availability, operational safety, quality, costs and deadlines as well as the consistent compliance with regulatory and operational requirements. The position combines classic HVAC engineering with project management, maintenance and technical plant management in a demanding industrial environment.
Responsibilities:
Independent management, planning and implementation of HVAC projects in chemical plant construction and industrial environments
Responsibility for functionality, safety, quality, costs and deadlines throughout the entire project duration
Technical design and dimensioning of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems for industrial applications
Creation, review and processing of R&I diagrams (P&ID), technical specifications and plant documentation
Procurement and technical evaluation of HVAC equipment, components and assembly services
Coordination of suppliers, specialist planners, assembly companies, operations and maintenance as well as management of technical interfaces
Organisation and implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance measures as well as coordination of complex fault rectifications
Ensuring high technical availability and operational safety of existing HVAC systems
Planning and execution of commissioning, functional tests, acceptance and handover of systems to operations
Compliance with and enforcement of legal regulations, internal work instructions, safety requirements and HVAC standard specifications
Technical optimisation of existing systems regarding energy efficiency, cost-effectiveness, availability and lifecycle costs
Ensuring complete project, plant and quality documentation during planning, implementation and operation
Qualifications:
Completed studies at FH, ETH or university in building services engineering, HVAC, energy and environmental technology or a comparable technical discipline
Several years of professional experience in planning and project management of HVAC systems, ideally in industry, chemical or plant construction
Sound knowledge in HVAC engineering, plant design and R&I diagrams (P&ID)
Experience in procurement, assembly coordination, commissioning and technical handover of plants
Knowledge of maintenance, plant availability and industrial safety and quality requirements
Experience with technical standards, standard specifications and regulatory requirements in an industrial environment
Very good German language skills, spoken and written
