You will experience a varied working day, characterised both by operational tasks and taking on a leadership role. This is what you can achieve.
- As a foreman, you carry out and lead maintenance or renewal work as well as superstructure and civil engineering work in the track area.
- You ensure the technical management of work sites and guarantee optimal handling on site; either for the entire work site or limited to a track section (in the case of large construction sites).
- At several work sites, you lead the work and take on the professional leadership of site managers and employees.
- You provide support in work preparation and reporting.
- As safety officer, you implement safety measures and check their compliance in accordance with the safety plan.
- You manage the on-call service and intervene on site in the event of special incidents.
This is what you bring with you.
- For this role, you have completed an apprenticeship in the construction industry (e.g. road construction worker or bricklayer) and have experience in the track area.
- You have completed further training as a foreman (POS) or as a foreman SBV and completed training as a foreman SBV (VOS).
- As a leader, you are characterised by good communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
- You are willing to work irregular hours and outdoors.
- You hold a category B driving licence, preferably a valid category E driving licence (trailer).
