Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced professional for the technical and organisational project management of demanding HVAC building technology projects. You will take overall responsibility for the planning and coordination of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and sanitation systems and accompany diverse construction projects from concept development to realisation. The focus is on developing energy-efficient building technology concepts, leading interdisciplinary planning teams, and providing technical advice to clients and architects. The position combines integral building technology planning, independent project management, and sustainable energy solutions with diverse development opportunities in a specialised engineering environment.
Responsibilities:
Independent technical and organisational management of demanding HVAC projects from the concept phase through planning to realisation and handover
Overall coordination of the building technology disciplines heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and sanitation as well as coordination of all technical interfaces
Development of planning specifications and technical concepts for energy-efficient and economical building technology systems
Conducting feasibility studies, technical analyses, and variant comparisons to assess different system and supply solutions
Preparation of technical reports, specifications, and decision-making bases for clients, architects, and other project participants
Responsibility for project execution across relevant SIA service phases including coordination of planning appointments and technical project requirements
Management of cost, schedule, and quality control as well as monitoring of project budgets, resources, and agreed performance targets
Technical coordination of internal project teams and external specialist planners to ensure integral and high-quality planning
Coordination with architecture, structural engineering, electrical planning, building automation, and fire protection on complex building technology issues
Quality assurance of calculations, planning documents, and technical specifications considering relevant SIA standards, SWKI guidelines, and energy requirements
Direct advice and support for clients, architects, and external planning offices as well as representation of technical project interests towards clients
Support of tenders, awards, and construction execution including technical offer reviews, execution clarifications, and assistance with system acceptance
Qualifications:
Completed studies as a building services engineer FH with a focus on HVAC or further training as a certified technician HF building technology or equivalent technical qualification
Solid expertise in planning and designing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and sanitation systems as well as understanding of integral building technology systems
Experience in technical project work or project management of demanding building technology projects across several planning and realisation phases
Knowledge in developing energy-efficient system concepts, technical calculations, and preparation of technical reports as well as economic evaluation of building technology solutions
Confident handling of relevant Swiss SIA standards, SWKI guidelines, and technical regulations as well as experience in coordinating interdisciplinary specialist planning
Good user knowledge of industry-standard CAD, calculation, and project management programmes as well as confident use of digital tools and MS Office
Very good German language skills in spoken and written form for client consulting, technical project management, and communication with architects and external planning partners
