CONSTRUCTION MANAGER (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF105,000 - 110,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced individual as a Construction Manager: Building Construction for the independent realisation of demanding new build, conversion and renovation projects. You form the central interface between client, architecture, specialist planning and executing companies and ensure a technically flawless implementation of the planning. From tendering and awarding to operational site management and acceptance, you are responsible for costs, deadlines and execution quality. Digital working methods and a close integration of planning and realisation characterise the project execution.
Responsibilities:
Independent construction management of new build, conversion and renovation projects in building construction
Operational control of construction sites regarding costs, deadlines, quality and execution
Coordination of contractors, specialist planners, suppliers and other project participants
Conducting tendering, submissions, offer comparisons and contractor awards
Creation and monitoring of construction programmes, schedules and execution processes
Review of execution, detail and workshop plans for feasibility and interfaces
Control of construction services according to contracts, SIA standards and project-specific quality requirements
Leading construction and coordination meetings as well as managing minutes and outstanding issues
Review of quantities, extra work, change orders and contractor invoices
Coordination of interfaces between architecture, structural engineering, building services and finishing trades
Organisation and execution of acceptances, quality controls and defect rectifications
Support during commissioning, handover, final accounting and revision documentation
Qualifications:
Training as a construction manager, HF technician in building construction, architect or draftsperson EFZ specialising in architecture with relevant experience
Several years of experience in construction management and realisation of building construction projects, ideally in Switzerland
Sound knowledge of tendering, awarding, construction administration and cost control
Confident understanding of building construction, execution details and construction processes
Good knowledge of relevant SIA standards and Swiss contract law basics
Experience with digital construction administration, planning or project management tools
Very good German language skills spoken and written
