About the job
The Hospitals of Schaffhausen include the Cantonal Hospital, the Psychiatric Services, the Radiology and Cardiology Posthof Neuhausen practices, as well as the Neurology Practice Schaffhausen Centre. With over 1,700 employees, we ensure the extended medical and nursing basic care of the Schaffhausen region. Annually, we care for approximately 11,000 inpatients and 90,000 outpatients. Additionally, we are an important training centre in the canton.
For the Therapies Secretariat, we are looking for a clerk starting 1 February 2027 or by arrangement, with a workload of 40-80%.
Therapies Clerk
- Scheduling and appointment planning for outpatients of physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy
- Obtaining cost approvals from health insurance companies and insurers, contact person for queries
- General secretarial duties
- Sale of therapy aids
- Workplace in the Therapies Outpatient Clinic and in medical training therapy
- Completed training with a Federal VET Diploma (EFZ), MPA, or completed further training as a medical secretary is an advantage
- Empathetic personality with communication skills in dealing with customers, referrers, and therapists
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Previous experience in planning activities
- High resilience, even in hectic situations
- Dynamic and proactive personality
- Willingness to start at 7 a.m. 2-3 times a week if required
- Quick comprehension
- Good IT skills
