Software Developer Web Applications (m/f/d)
Our client is an internationally active Swiss mechanical engineering company focusing on highly precise manufacturing and production technologies. Using the most modern development and manufacturing methods, the company develops and produces innovative solutions for demanding industrial applications. Role:
In this role, you design modern web and cloud solutions and apply your experience as a Senior Software Engineer specifically. You are responsible for the technical conception, implementation, and further development of web applications and cloud-based services. You rely on scalable architectures and ensure a clean, maintainable codebase. Additionally, you ensure integration into existing systems, taking into account performance, security, and stability. Through your professional experience, you significantly influence technical decisions and thus directly contribute to the quality of the solutions.
Responsibilities:
- You further develop and operate our Azure-based IoT web application at a senior level
- In this role, you design and scale REST APIs between devices, sensors, and cloud systems
- As a Senior Software Engineer Web and Cloud, you optimise cloud operations regarding performance, scaling, security, and costs
- You develop and maintain modern web frontends with Angular
- In this role, you shape architecture, technology decisions, and technical standards
- As a Senior Software Engineer Web and Cloud, you ensure software quality through code reviews, automated tests, and CI/CD
Qualifications:
- You have a degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a comparable field
- You have at least 5 years of experience in full-stack web development
- You have practical cloud experience operating productive Azure applications (app hosting, serverless, IoT, DevOps, monitoring)
- You are proficient in C# and .NET as well as Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, REST APIs, and relational databases such as PostgreSQL
- You think in architectures, work independently, and actively contribute to the team
- You have very good German skills and good English skills
