Role:
Do you want to apply and specifically expand your knowledge about end devices in everyday life? As a Junior Workplace Operations Engineer, you keep Windows clients and mobile devices stable and secure in a Microsoft 365 environment. The focus is on Microsoft Intune, with which you manage devices, apps, and policies. Questions are explicitly welcome, and your team gives you space to learn. With every task you solve, you take on a little more responsibility.
Responsibilities:
You set up Windows notebooks and mobile devices and reliably put them into operation.
Furthermore, you define device configurations, compliance policies, and security guidelines for the endpoints.
Updates, security patches, and patch management of the clients are in your hands.
You package software, deploy applications via Intune, and drive the automation of distribution forward.
If errors occur, you analyse them in 2nd-level support and resolve incidents related to devices, applications, and deployments.
In addition, you manage Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint, technically implement entries and exits with licences and permissions, and keep inventory and documentation up to date.
Qualifications:
You have initial practical experience in client, system, or workplace engineering.
You bring sound knowledge of Windows 11 and Windows 10 as well as the services of M365.
You have already centrally managed end devices and understand the principles of Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM).
Furthermore, you have worked with packaging, deployment, and patching and are familiar with security topics such as antivirus, firewall, and device compliance.
You approach error patterns methodically and patiently. You are familiar with the basics of Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
Additionally, initial steps with PowerShell are a plus. You communicate confidently in German and use English in everyday work without hesitation.
