Innovative IT infrastructures arise from powerful networks. We are looking for a person who develops, optimises and future-proofs modern enterprise networks. Those who see complex Cisco environments as an exciting challenge and want to actively shape technological innovations will find the right role here.
Responsibilities:
Design, construction and further development of modern enterprise networks based on Cisco technologies
Planning and implementation of highly available network architectures for demanding corporate environments
Operation and optimisation of routing, switching and WLAN infrastructures
Introduction and further development of Software Defined Networking (SDN) and network automation
Implementation of network security concepts with firewalls, network access control and segmentation
Analysis of complex network faults and performance optimisation
Automation of recurring processes with Python, Ansible or comparable technologies
Collaboration with cloud, security and infrastructure specialists on exciting digitalisation projects
Technical consulting on infrastructure projects and architectural decisions
Qualifications:
Several years of experience in network engineering with Cisco technologies
Sound knowledge of routing, switching, VLAN, BGP, OSPF and WLAN
Experience with Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, Meraki or Cisco DNA Center
Knowledge of network security and modern architectural concepts
Interest in automation, cloud networking and infrastructure as code
Solution-oriented, analytical and structured working style
