We are looking immediately or by arrangement for our Structural Engineering division in Zurich, Pratteln or Frauenfeld for a Senior Project Manager as a Civil Engineer in Building Construction with a focus on Infrastructure Facilities 100% (m/f/d).

Your Responsibilities

• Project management and technical responsibility

  • Overall responsibility for the planning, control and realisation of complex building and civil engineering projects in the area of infrastructure facilities and plant construction (e.g. industrial buildings)

  • Management of interdisciplinary project teams across all project phases SIA 31 - 53

  • Control and assurance of quality, costs, budget and deadlines across all project phases

  • Coordination with authorities, contractors and clients

  • Review of technical concepts and details, structural calculations as well as tender and execution documents

  • Technical support regarding technical issues in all SIA phases
    

• Leadership and team responsibility

  • Technical and disciplinary leadership of project teams

  • Promotion and development of employees in specialised topics

  • Mentoring team and further development of junior project managers (project management)

  • Ensuring a collegial, performance-oriented working environment

Your Profile

• Professional competence

  • Completed studies in civil engineering (ETH/FH/BSc/MSc) or comparable qualification

  • Several years of professional experience in managing complex large projects (building and civil engineering with a focus on infrastructure facilities and plant construction)

  • Sound knowledge in structural planning and infrastructure

  • Extensive expertise in Swiss standards and construction contract law

  • Experience with BIM methods and digital planning tools (Dalux)

  • Entrepreneurial thinking with a high sense of responsibility and quality awareness
    

• Social and leadership skills

  • Ability to motivate, promote and lead teams in a results-oriented manner

  • Team spirit and willingness for interdisciplinary collaboration

  • Strong leadership personality with clear communication style and assertiveness

  • High resilience, self-responsibility and structured working method
