Embedded Systems Developer (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:
- You design and implement sophisticated FPGA/SoC solutions including architecture, simulation, and verification
- In this role, you work closely with hardware and software developers to ensure smooth system integration
- You take on technical leadership responsibility in applying best practices in FPGA/SoC design
- As an Embedded Systems Developer, you keep up to date with current developments and technologies in embedded systems and FPGA/SoC
- You develop and integrate embedded Linux drivers as well as applications for customised FPGA/SoC platforms
- As a senior, you support the team with your expertise in complex technical challenges in system development
Qualifications:
- Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field
- Solid knowledge of VHDL as well as development with FPGA and SoC tools, ideally with AMD/Xilinx Vivado and Vitis
- Experience in verification with self-checking testbenches, preferably using Cocotb and Python
- Confident handling of C/C++ for embedded systems such as SoC or Microblaze
- Familiarity with version control systems and modern CI/CD practices
- Knowledge of embedded Linux, ideally with Yocto, bootloader, device tree, and driver development
