At the Aumatt Senior Centre, everything revolves around people. With heart and mind, we offer around 170 senior women and men in Northwestern Switzerland a loving home. Together with 250 dedicated colleagues, we create an atmosphere to feel comfortable in.
Hospitality is far more than just a supporting area – it significantly shapes the daily experience of our clients. Your tasks
In this versatile leadership role, you take overall responsibility for the hospitality area and actively shape it strategically, operationally, and culturally.
Leadership and organisation
- Representing the hospitality area in the management team and effectively implementing corporate goals
- Leading, coaching, and developing directly reporting employees as well as promoting a respectful and performance-oriented culture
- Responsibility for personnel planning, recruitment, and development within your own area
- Ensuring efficient structures and processes as well as continuous development while considering budgetary requirements
- Promoting constructive collaboration with internal and external partners and suppliers
Quality and service
- Ensuring and targeted further development of high service and quality standards
- Regular analysis of key figures and initiation and implementation of improvement measures
- Development and overall responsibility for a holistic hospitality concept
- Further development of the service philosophy and setting impulses for an excellent service culture
- Responsibility for complaint management and using feedback for sustainable quality improvement
- Ensuring economical and sustainable procurement as well as professional inventory and material management
- Actively driving the digitalisation of processes
Strategy and development
- Monitoring relevant trends and developments in hospitality/housekeeping
- Contributing to corporate strategy and further development of the offering
- Leading or participating in projects and actively shaping innovations
- Forward-looking planning of investments in infrastructure and equipment
Your profile
Professional qualifications
- Degree as a certified hotelier-gastronomist HF or higher qualification in hospitality, housekeeping (e.g. hospitality-housekeeping manager with federal diploma)
- Several years of professional experience (at least 5 years) in a comparable leadership role
- Ideally experience in care gastronomy or healthcare as well as understanding of the specific requirements of this environment
- Very good German language skills in spoken and written form, additional languages advantageous
- Very good IT user skills
- Further training in management, leadership and/or business administration (CAS, DAS or MAS) desirable
