Project Manager in the Energy Sector

Committed to an ambitious policy on energy transition, sustainability and quality of life, the City is seeking a Project Manager in the energy sector for its urban planning, public works and energy department.

The city of Meyrin, with a staff of 950 members, is distinguished by its dynamism, multiculturalism and the richness of its associative and economic fabric. • Integrated within the urban planning, public works and energy department, you will manage files related to energy within the framework of the "Energy City Gold" label.

• Define and develop the strategic axes of the municipal energy policy and promote it both internally and externally;

• Ensure the monitoring of the Energy City label and coordinate the resulting actions;

• Develop territorial energy concepts in coordination with private and institutional actors (State, SIG, FTI);

• Manage the energy management system (EMS) and participate in defining and implementing energy performance actions at the level of municipal buildings and equipment;

• Manage and independently monitor projects: prepare specifications, select contractors in compliance with public procurement law (AIMP), ensure financial monitoring;

• Communicate on these files with residents, the Municipal Council, the Administrative Council, developers, companies...

• Autonomous in carrying out their mission while knowing how to work as part of a team;

• Able to mobilise colleagues by giving meaning, engaging them in action and motivating them to adhere to an objective;

• Familiar with the functioning of local authorities, knowledge of cantonal legislation is a definite asset, and a sense of public service;

• Availability in the evening for political commissions and public information sessions.
