Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced professional as BIM Coordinator HVAC for the digital planning and coordination of demanding building services projects. You will handle diverse projects such as office and administrative areas, educational and research buildings, as well as energy supply systems with local and district heating/cooling. The focus is on spatial specialist coordination, modelling, and quality assurance of HVAC specialist models as well as collaboration with various planning disciplines. You will work with modern Open BIM processes and Autodesk platforms and support project management in planning and project development.
Responsibilities:
Responsibility for the spatial specialist coordination of HVAC trades in demanding building services projects
Creation, editing, and maintenance of 3D specialist models for heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and sanitation
Modelling and coordination of building services using Autodesk Revit according to project-specific BIM requirements
Conducting clash detection and model-based quality control with Navisworks and other BIM tools
Ensuring quality assurance (QA) of specialist models before release and data exchange with project participants
Coordination of interfaces between HVAC, electrical, architecture, structural engineering, and other specialist disciplines
Participation in Open BIM processes and organisation of model-based information and data exchange
Management and coordination of project data via Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC / BIM 360)
Processing and tracking of BIM issues and coordination points, including with BIMcollab
Supporting project management in planning, project development, and technical solution development in building services engineering
Responsibility for proper project execution within your own planning discipline
Contributing to the further development of BIM standards, modelling guidelines, and digital planning processes
Qualifications:
Completed training as a building services planner EFZ, preferably specialising in heating, ventilation, or sanitation
Professional experience in HVAC planning and BIM-based building services planning
Very good user knowledge of Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD
Good knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC / BIM 360), Navisworks, and BIMcollab
Experience in spatial specialist coordination and clash detection of HVAC models
Sound knowledge in data and information management of digital building models
Knowledge of Open BIM and interdisciplinary BIM processes
