What you will develop:
Lead and manage the calculations office, support the team and develop their skills.
Organise the department's activities, set priorities and establish budgets.
Analyse client needs and project requirements to define appropriate calculation methods.
Supervise and validate sizing calculations and resistance to static, dynamic and thermal loads.
Ensure the quality of studies and deliverables, in compliance with applicable standards and requirements.
Write and update technical documentation related to calculation activities throughout the projects.
Participate in internal progress meetings and with clients, and present the chosen technical solutions.
Keep up to date with methods, tools and technical developments related to the office's activities.
What you bring:
Engineering degree from EPF or equivalent (Master's level).
10 years of professional experience in a similar position.
You have a thorough command of all types of mechanical calculations: static, modal, frequency response, shock, vibro-acoustic, thermal and thermoelastic for metallic and fibre-reinforced materials.
Proficiency in Nastran is essential and knowledge of FEMAP would be an advantage.
Familiarity with ECSS standards.
You express yourself fluently in both French and English, both spoken and written. You are able to defend your technical solutions in these two languages.
You are autonomous, organised and rigorous, and proactive.
You know how to make decisions, explain them and ensure their implementation.
