Operations Mechanic (m/f/d) 100%

For our client, a plastics manufacturing company in the Liestal area, we are seeking a qualified operations mechanic for the maintenance of production equipment and building infrastructure, for a permanent position starting immediately or by arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and ongoing optimisation of existing production equipment and building infrastructure
• Troubleshooting
• Supporting production with order-related equipment preparation and equipment modification for trials
• Data maintenance in the maintenance software
• Active collaboration with the production, logistics, and quality control departments
• Organisation, inspection, and acceptance of work by external companies including service work
• Inventory management of spare parts and accessories as well as incoming goods inspection

Requirements

• Technical vocational training (e.g. polymechanic or agricultural machinery mechanic) with a Federal VET Diploma (EFZ)
• Solid professional experience in machine/equipment maintenance
• Practical experience in welding and electrical knowledge
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
• Willingness to participate in on-call duty
• Driving licence category B and own vehicle
• Clean and independent working style
• Creative, cross-process thinking and acting
• Very good German skills, spoken and written
• Good PC skills (maintenance software)
