Role:
In this versatile role, you are responsible for the virtual component design of injection-moulded parts – from concept to series maturity. You advise customers on the technical implementation of their requirements and use modern simulation environments for validation and optimisation.
Responsibilities:
Conducting structural mechanical and rheological calculations
Supporting material selection and component optimisation
Coordinating results with international customers and project teams
Applying and further developing internal CAE standards and methods
Using advanced measurement techniques for validation (CT, 3D data)
Contributing to technological developments and trend analyses
Qualifications:
University degree in a technical discipline, preferably plastics engineering
Several years of professional experience in simulation and component design
Confident handling of CAE tools and plastics processing technologies
Teamwork skills, analytical thinking, and structured working style
Fluent German and English skills
