Tinsmith - Roofer

Proman Creajob, within the framework of a permanent contract (CDI), is looking for a:

Tasks :

• Reading plans and taking measurements
• Sheet metal work: cutting, shaping, folding, stamping, hammering
• Manufacturing elements such as gutters and pipes
• Installation of metal or synthetic coverings
• Assembly using various techniques (welding, brazing, riveting, stapling, nailing)
• Preparation of quantity surveys
• Carrying out repair, modification and renovation work
• Complete roof refurbishment
• Maintenance and after-sales service of Velux-type windows
• Troubleshooting and leak detection on roofs
• Regular maintenance services on roofs

Profile sought :

• Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a Tinsmith or at least 4 years of experience in the field.
• Versatility and ease in tinsmithing and roofing
• Good knowledge of materials and applied methods, including roof insulation
• Familiarity with current Swiss standards
• Ability to work independently and solve technical challenges
• Meticulousness, dynamism and reliability
• Driving licence

Required technical skills :

• Use of the folding machine
• Independent execution of complete roof refurbishments
• Good knowledge of Velux-type windows
• Ability to carry out troubleshooting and leak detection on roofs
