For a demanding IT environment, an experienced individual is sought who operates and continuously develops modern container platforms. The focus is on Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes and Linux as well as the reliable operation of hybrid platform environments.
You take responsibility for the entire lifecycle of the platforms, analyse complex disruptions and ensure stable and high-performance operation through targeted optimisations. You work in an agile team and actively contribute to technical changes and improvements.
Responsibilities:
Operation, lifecycle management and further development of OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms in on-premise and cloud environments
Analysis and optimisation of the platforms including performance tuning and proactive monitoring
Handling incidents and problems as well as sustainable resolution of complex technical disruptions
Planning and implementation of changes taking into account established change management processes
Handling and prioritising technical tasks and tickets in collaboration with the product owner
Active participation in agile team processes such as sprints, reviews and PI planning
Qualifications:
Solid practical experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes, especially in on-premise environments
Very good knowledge of Linux, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux
Experience with Ansible and automation of operational processes
Knowledge of Oracle Forms, ADF and WebLogic Server is an advantage
Sound understanding of network, security, storage and operating systems
Experience with Splunk and ServiceNow as well as ITIL processes
Knowledge of agile methods such as Scrum or SAFe
Structured, independent and reliable working style
Experience in agile and team-oriented environments
Very good German and English skills
