Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for a Civil Engineer Structural Engineering / Structural Design for the development and realisation of demanding high-rise and civil engineering projects. You will develop static and structural solutions in concrete, steel, and timber and accompany projects from the first structural concept to execution. You will work closely with architecture, specialist planning, and construction management and increasingly take responsibility in tendering, cost and schedule management, as well as construction inspections. The position is suitable for both graduates and civil engineers with initial professional experience.
Responsibilities:
Development of structural and static concepts from design to completion
Static and structural processing of projects in concrete, steel, and timber
Execution of structural calculations, dimensioning, and serviceability verifications
Planning and dimensioning of ceilings, columns, walls, foundations, and other structural elements
Development of constructive details and coordination with
Collaboration with architects, building services planners, and other engineering disciplines
Preparation of tenders and technical specifications
Support in cost and schedule management during planning and realisation
Technical review of contractor and workshop documents
Conducting construction inspections and quality assurance on site
Taking on tasks in technical construction management and accompanying structural execution
Participation in interdisciplinary planning processes and digital structural models
Qualifications:
Completed studies as a Civil Engineer FH/ETH
Professional focus or initial practical experience in structural engineering / structural design
Suitable for graduates as well as candidates with several years of professional experience
Knowledge of relevant SIA standards and basics of dimensioning concrete, steel, and timber structures
Good user knowledge of MS Office; AxisVM and Messerli construction administration are advantageous
Experience with CAD/BIM and structural analysis software is an advantage
Good German language skills, spoken and written
