Then apply now – we will connect you with our Rocken partner.Responsibilities:
You analyse suspicious system activities, investigate affected user accounts and devices, and support containment and remediation of security incidents. You communicate your findings and recommendations clearly to customers.
You implement security solutions and infrastructure projects in local, hybrid, and cloud environments – from requirements gathering through configuration and testing to documentation and handover.
You review automated security analyses, prioritise vulnerabilities together with customers, and accompany the remediation of misconfigurations, excessive permissions, and technical security gaps.
You manage the internal security platform, investigate anomalies in data and reports, and work with development to improve stability and functionality.
You optimise detection rules, analysis workflows, and incident playbooks. Through scripting and automation, you reduce manual tasks and increase the quality of security monitoring.
Qualifications:
You have completed an IT education or a comparable technical qualification and have practical experience in system engineering or IT security. A part-time IT degree is also welcome.
You are familiar with Windows servers and clients, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 and understand the interplay of identities, networks, and systems.
You bring initial practical experience in areas such as system hardening, endpoint protection, permission management, or security event analysis.
You enjoy working with tools such as Microsoft Defender XDR, Microsoft Sentinel, PowerShell, or KQL and are motivated to expand your knowledge in further security technologies.
You work analytically and conscientiously, communicate openly with customers and team members, and take responsibility for your tasks. Even under time pressure, you prioritise and handle sensitive information reliably.
