Citrix System Engineer

Your tasks

  • You operate and develop, together with the team, the Citrix XenDesktop (VDI) and XenApp infrastructure based on 2402 LTSR
  • You support the expansion of the system landscape as well as the introduction of new software solutions
  • The independent execution of migrations and small projects also enriches your daily work
  • You assist in creating technical concepts and system overviews and document your work
  • You analyse technical problems and handle tickets in 2nd/3rd level support

Your profile

  • Professional training in computer science or a comparable qualification
  • Sound knowledge in the administration, configuration and operation of Citrix NetScaler ADC (SDX/VPX) as well as experience in their support, maintenance and fault analysis
  • Good experience in load balancing, SSL offloading, gateway and authentication solutions with Citrix NetScaler
  • Experience in migrating Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) to Citrix DaaS as well as support in the introduction and optimisation of Citrix Cloud Services
  • Several years of experience operating Citrix environments with in-depth know-how in VDI and Microsoft technologies
  • Very good German skills in spoken and written form as well as good English skills
  • Very good knowledge of Windows environments (Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, GPO)
  • Good scripting skills with PowerShell
  • Independent working style and enjoyment of cross-team collaboration
  • High quality and security awareness
  • Willingness to participate in on-call duty
