To complement our team, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a social worker at 100%.
Your Responsibilities
- Support and advice for adult residents of asylum accommodations in the canton of Schwyz
- Assessment of potential and allocation of offers from the integration agenda regarding social, educational and professional integration
- Case management and correspondence in the case processing system
- Social support and referral to the responsible contacts
- Preparation of social assistance budgets
- Ensuring the subsidiarity principle (social insurance, subsidies, etc.)
- Support with various administrative tasks and cooperation with other institutions
- Contact person for external agencies
Your Profile
- Completed training in social pedagogy / social work (HF/FH) / diploma as educator (HF/FH) / bachelor in psychology or bachelor in sociology
- Further training in case management and/or integration topics is an advantage
- Several years of professional experience in social counselling
- Good knowledge of social and asylum systems, high intercultural sensitivity and competence in dealing with vulnerable persons
- Knowledge of integration offers in the canton of Schwyz is an advantage
- Very good oral and written German skills as well as good oral skills in another national language and/or English
- IT skills, ideally with case management software Tutoris
- Resilient personality, high sense of responsibility and commitment – the person is at the centre for you
- Confident manner, strong in communication and relationship building
