Senior Architect (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF115,000 - 120,000Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced Senior Architect for the project management of architecturally demanding projects in various scales and uses. You will lead interdisciplinary design teams through several SIA phases and combine high architectural quality with structured project management. In addition to responsibility for deadlines, planning processes and coordination, you will shape the conceptual, design and constructive development of the projects. The scope of work includes demanding residential, cultural and other building projects with a special focus on design, execution quality and architectural detail.
Responsibilities:
Independent project management and coordination of architectural projects across several SIA phases
Professional leadership and management of design and project teams
Development and continuation of architectural concepts and designs up to construction implementation
Ensuring high design, planning and execution quality
Management of project workflows, planning processes and deadlines
Coordination of specialist planners, experts and other external project participants
Management of plan and interface coordination between architecture, structural engineering and building services
Development and quality assurance of materialisation, construction and detailing concepts
Ensuring compliance with relevant SIA standards, Swiss building regulations and legal requirements
Preparation and leadership of project, planning and coordination meetings
Support of approval and execution processes as well as coordination with authorities and specialist offices
Contribution to the continuous development of planning methodology, design quality and architectural standards
Qualifications:
Completed architecture degree ETH/FH or equivalent university qualification
At least 5 years of professional experience in Switzerland working on demanding architectural projects
Sound knowledge of SIA phases, Swiss standards and legal building framework
Proven experience in design, project management and coordination of interdisciplinary planning teams
Confident use of ArchiCAD as well as a strong understanding of construction, materialisation and detailing
Very good German language skills spoken and written
Good English skills are an advantage
