Civil Engineer (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF115,000 - 120,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced individual as a Civil Engineer / Project Manager in Structural Engineering. You will handle and lead technically and architecturally demanding construction projects such as museums, hospitals, high-rise buildings and sports facilities from planning to realisation. You will work closely with clients, renowned architectural firms and general planners, developing economical and structurally convincing load-bearing solutions. Particular importance is given to sustainable construction, resource-efficient structures and the digitalisation of planning.
Responsibilities:
Planning and management of demanding projects in structural engineering
Handling projects from concept and structural development to realisation
Development and assessment of structural concepts and constructive solutions
Execution and coordination of static calculations and dimensioning
Responsibility for costs, deadlines, quality and technical project goals
Collaboration with clients, architects, general planners and specialist planners
Coordination of involved engineers and designers within projects
Technical support of demanding building, cultural, healthcare and sports facilities
Preparation of expert reports and decision-making bases for sustainable construction
Development of resource- and material-efficient solutions with regard to CO₂ reduction and recyclability
Application and further development of digital planning and BIM methods
Collaboration with research institutions and external specialists
Professional advice to clients throughout the various project phases
Qualifications:
Completed studies as a Civil Engineer ETH/FH/TU (BSc/MSc/Dipl.)
Several years of professional experience in structural engineering or structural planning
Experience in project management of demanding building projects is an advantage
Sound knowledge in statics, construction and structural planning
Interest in sustainable, resource-efficient and digital construction
Strong technical, analytical and commercial thinking skills
Independent and structured working style with a high solution orientation
Confident manner and convincing communication with clients, architects and planning partners
Fluent German language skills in spoken and written form
