Role:

Cloud projects succeed when platform, identities, and devices mesh seamlessly. This is exactly the interface where you work as a Cloud Engineer: Azure Automation & Bicep. Your foundation is Azure and Microsoft 365 (M365), which you shape with code rather than clicks. Technical depth is as important here as the overall perspective. Those who enjoy taking responsibility for a growing cloud landscape will find plenty of scope here.

Responsibilities:

• Security and access in the Microsoft Cloud are in your hands. You set up identity and access management solutions and consistently implement governance requirements.

• You accompany existing server and application landscapes on their journey to the cloud and lead transition projects from planning to completion.

• Furthermore, you build network architectures with VNets, routing, and hybrid connectivity. You resolve firewall and VPN integrations together with network specialists in the Fortinet environment.

• You drive automation with Infrastructure as Code and PowerShell and establish standardised deployment processes.

• You manage devices with Microsoft Intune, from configuration profiles to compliance, and further develop modern workplace solutions.

• Additionally, you analyse complex disruptions across all cloud layers and use AI purposefully to optimise operations.

Qualifications:

• You bring at least three years of practical experience in the Microsoft cloud environment, ideally including migrations from on-premises environments.

• You are familiar with the central platform services around compute, networking, and security from your own project work.

• You are proficient with Entra ID, RBAC, Conditional Access, MFA, and app registrations.

• Furthermore, you have already written your own Bicep templates and automate processes in M365 by scripting.

• You understand endpoint security and device compliance as well as network topics from NSGs through DNS to VPN. Knowledge of Fortinet firewalls is welcome.

• Moreover, you think solution-oriented, document comprehensibly, and enjoy sharing your knowledge. You are fluent in German for negotiations and handle technical discussions in English effortlessly. Microsoft certifications in cloud, security, or identity are an advantage.
