Legal Officer
Position Information
Start date: immediate or to be agreed
Contract duration: Permanent
Work rate: 80%
Workplace: Lausanne-Unicentre
Your Activities
In the course of your work you will be required to:
- Manage and coordinate appeal procedures in the field of education
- Advise members of the UNIL Management on disciplinary procedures, manage and coordinate these procedures
- Provide legal advice and guidance to services, faculties, and any entity benefiting from the services provided by the legal department
- Contribute to drafting or revising directives and regulations and ensure their legal compliance
- Manage projects assigned by the hierarchy and ensure their coordination
Your Profile
- You hold a master’s degree in Swiss law and have 3 to 5 years of professional experience in legal activities related to the position; a lawyer’s licence is an asset
- You appreciate a variety of activities and have a strong interest in public law and administrative procedure
- You have excellent skills in managing complex projects, setting priorities, identifying and anticipating risks, and demonstrate good stress resistance while remaining pragmatic and clear
- Your social skills are recognised and you know how to adapt to different situations and interlocutors
- You are familiar with the academic environment and its challenges or are interested in discovering them
- For you, team spirit, sharing knowledge and viewpoints is a source of enrichment and pleasure at work
