Role:

On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced professional for execution planning, constructive detail development and BIM-supported architectural planning in an established Swiss architectural environment. You will handle demanding building projects from the further development of architectural designs to structural realisation and work closely with clients, investors and interdisciplinary specialist planner teams. The focus is on the independent preparation of working and execution plans, 3D building modelling with Autodesk Revit, and the development of technically and aesthetically high-quality construction solutions. The position combines sound building construction and digital planning methodology with independent responsibility for the quality and coordination of demanding execution documents.

Responsibilities:

• Independent processing and coordination of architectural execution planning for demanding new build and renovation projects according to the relevant SIA project phases

• Creation and further development of working, execution and detail plans considering building construction, materialisation and technical feasibility

• Creation, processing and maintenance of digital 3D building models with Autodesk Revit including component modelling, model structuring and plan derivation

• Development of independent constructive detail solutions for building envelopes, façades, roof constructions, interior fittings and technical connections

• Integration and coordination of specialist planner documents from structural engineering, building services, building physics and other special disciplines

• Participation in BIM-supported planning processes including specialist model coordination, model checking and digital interface coordination

• Review and quality assurance of execution documents regarding dimensional accuracy, completeness, compliance with standards and structural feasibility

• Technical coordination with clients, investors, authorities and specialist planners to clarify planning requirements and constructive issues

• Processing of plan changes and project optimisations considering cost, schedule and quality requirements

• Support in the preparation of tender and submission documents including technical plan attachments, component descriptions and detailed clarifications

• Close collaboration with project management and site management to ensure coordinated and quality-compliant construction execution

• Creation and maintenance of revision plans, plan directories and technical project documentation during the realisation phase

Qualifications:

• Completed architecture studies ETH/FH (Bachelor or Master) or comparable recognised higher education qualification

• Several years of professional experience in independent architectural execution planning, including practical project experience in Swiss building construction

• Very good user knowledge of Autodesk Revit, especially in 3D building modelling, working planning and constructive detail processing

• Basic knowledge of BIM methodology as well as experience in model-based specialist coordination and digital planning processing

• Sound knowledge of building construction, detail planning, materialisation and technical execution standards

• Knowledge of Swiss SIA standards, building regulations and planning processes as well as confident handling of common ICT, CAD and documentation applications

• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form for technical planning clarifications and communication with clients, authorities and specialist planners
