For a residential group with unaccompanied minor asylum seekers (MNA) aged 10 to 14 years, we are looking for two committed and responsible individuals. The children and young people live together in a supervised residential group in the Grosshof transit centre.
Your tasks
- You accompany and care for the children and young people in everyday life and create a reliable and age-appropriate daily structure.
- You build sustainable and professional relationships with the children and young people.
- You support the children and young people with patience and commitment in school, personal and social matters.
- Taking into account the individual developmental level, you promote the independence of the children and young people.
- You plan and carry out leisure activities as well as age-appropriate recreational and support offers.
Your profile
- You have training in the social or care sector or a comparable qualification.
- Ideally, you have already gained experience working with children and young people.
- You enjoy and are interested in working with young people from different cultural and social backgrounds.
- Furthermore, you are characterised by a high sense of responsibility as well as a good sense of closeness and professional distance.
- You are resilient and able to act calmly and clearly even in challenging situations and are willing to work irregular hours and shifts.
