With more than 13,000 employees representing 160 professions, the Geneva University Hospitals (HUG) are a reference institution at both national and international levels. To learn more about our institution, take a few minutes to consult our 2025 retrospective by clicking here .
The Human Resources Directorate's main mission is to ensure the development of the institution's human capital in view of organisational evolution. It constantly seeks to innovate, challenge and improve its practices while basing its strategy on the positive experience of employees. The HUG HR policy is based on skills development and career paths aligned with institutional needs and focuses on consideration of the individual, work-life balance, and health and safety at work.
The HUG Training and Development Centre (CFD) develops and deploys a range of programmes and measures to ensure that HUG has the necessary skills to fulfil its mission and that each staff member can realise their full potential and remain at the forefront of their profession. The Centre's activities notably include specialised nursing training as well as continuing education.
As a multimedia techno-pedagogical specialist, you contribute to the design, realisation and evolution of innovative training systems that meet the needs of the institution's various audiences and professions. You support project teams in analysing pedagogical, technological and multimedia needs, identifying the most relevant digital solutions and providing expert advice on technical choices and implementation methods.
You actively participate in the scripting of learning pathways, paying particular attention to user experience and learner engagement.
You ensure the design and production of content, from storyboard development to testing, validation and deployment, in collaboration with subject matter experts, pedagogical and technical teams, and external providers. You guarantee the coherence, quality and compatibility of the solutions developed with the institution's digital environments.
You also ensure the quality, compatibility, maintenance and continuous improvement of existing systems. Finally, through active monitoring of technologies and digital learning trends, particularly in artificial intelligence, you contribute to the innovation of practices and projects aimed at enhancing the quality and efficiency of the training offer.
Qualifications
You hold a Bachelor’s degree in learning sciences, computer science, multimedia, communication, human resources or an equivalent qualification, ideally complemented by a specialisation in e-learning or educational engineering.
You have at least three years’ experience in designing, producing and deploying digital training content and master the main authoring and multimedia tools, notably Articulate 360, Genially, Camtasia and the Adobe suite, as well as audio and video production solutions. Certification in these tools and knowledge of web development are assets.
Comfortable with new technologies and AI-based solutions, you know how to use them to improve design processes, user experience and the effectiveness of training systems. Creative, autonomous and results-oriented, you have excellent analytical, conceptual and synthesis skills, as well as a keen sense of organisation and quality. Your client orientation, interpersonal skills, adaptability and initiative enable you to work effectively in a dynamic and collaborative environment. You are also proficient in the main office and collaborative tools, notably Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and PowerPoint.
