We are looking immediately or by arrangement for our Construction Technology division in Zurich or Frauenfeld for a Construction Manager (m/f/d) 80 - 100% specialising in civil and structural engineering with a focus on infrastructure facilities (industrial sector).

Your Responsibilities

• Construction management and site supervision

  • On-site construction management and coordination of companies involved in the construction

  • Control and monitoring of construction execution from realisation to handover

  • Ensuring professional, economical and high-quality execution

  • Active site presence and coordination of all parties during the execution phase

  • Verification of contractor invoices and handover of construction documentation

• Schedule, cost and quality control

  • Creation and monitoring of schedules

  • Ongoing cost control and support with project cost accounting

  • Review and approval of reports, delivery notes and time and material work

  • Quality controls, acceptance and defect management

  • Ensuring occupational safety according to SUVA and EKAS guidelines

  • Documentation of construction progress using site diary and photo documentation

• Communication and coordination

  • Organisation and leadership of construction meetings including minute-taking

  • Coordination between client, planners, contractors and authorities

  • Close collaboration with project management

  • Early identification and escalation of risks and deviations

Your Profile

• Professional qualifications

  • Degree as certified construction manager HFP or certified technician HF construction planning or an equivalent qualification

  • Several years of experience as construction or project manager, preferably in industrial, civil or structural engineering in Switzerland

  • Experience in construction cost planning, calculation, scheduling, contract management and tendering (specification)

  • Familiarity with industry-standard software packages for construction management (Messerli BAUAD, MS Office, MS Project)

  • Expert knowledge of construction products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards

• Personal skills

  • Strong leadership and assertive personality

  • Independent and structured working style

  • High resilience and sense of responsibility

  • Strong communication skills in dealing with clients, contractors and specialist planners

  • Solution-oriented, team player and decisive

• Language skills

  • German: C2 - native level

  • Driving licence category B
