Role:
Do you want to secure networks, detect security risks early, and implement technical protection concepts in practice? In this role, you ensure that firewall environments are correctly configured and that security requirements are adhered to during ongoing operations. You combine technical troubleshooting with preventive security measures and support companies in improving their IT security.
Whether optimising existing configurations, analysing unusual events, or implementing new security solutions: your expertise is in demand. Direct contact with various companies keeps your working day varied and diverse.
Responsibilities:
You set up firewall and network security solutions, commission them, and ensure their reliable operation.
You review existing security configurations, optimise rule sets, and manage VPN connections as well as the separation of different network areas.
You analyse security logs and alerts, investigate potential vulnerabilities, and document relevant findings and measures.
You keep security components up to date and secure through regular updates, maintenance, and targeted hardening.
You participate in technical security projects, coordinate implementation steps, and provide on-site support in Switzerland if required.
Qualifications:
You have professional experience in firewall administration, network security, or the technical operation of security solutions.
You possess solid knowledge of NAT, VPN, firewall policies, and securing segmented networks.
You are familiar with analysing log data, handling security alarms, and technical documentation.
You approach challenges analytically, work reliably, and find pragmatic solutions even in complex disruptions. You enjoy interacting with companies and technical teams.
