Construction Project Management (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF120,000 - 125,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced construction professional as Client Representative / Project Manager Building Construction for demanding new build and renovation projects in non-profit housing. You represent the owners’ interests throughout all project phases and are responsible for managing quality, costs, deadlines and contracts with planning offices and executing companies. A special focus is on residential construction, renovation, sustainable architecture and long-term building quality including ecological, social and operational requirements. As client-side project management, you lead building commissions, prepare decisions and ensure the coordinated implementation of projects up to handover and warranty phase.
Responsibilities:
Client-side management of demanding new build, conversion and renovation projects in residential construction
Representation of client and owner interests towards architectural offices, general planners, specialist planners and companies
Management of projects through the relevant SIA phases from design to realisation, handover and warranty phase
Responsibility for cost, schedule, quality and risk management within the assigned construction projects
Leadership and coordination of planning and execution teams as well as control of agreed project services
Chairing of building commissions and project meetings as well as preparation of decision bases and project approvals
Responsibility for contract, change order and amendment management with planners and executing companies
Support of tenders, submissions, awards and contract conclusions
Ensuring high architectural, constructive and energetic quality in new builds and existing properties
Integration of sustainability, ecology, life cycle costs and management requirements in planning and realisation
Coordination of acceptances, defect rectification, warranty services and project handovers
Ensuring structured project controlling, reporting and information flow towards internal and external project participants
Qualifications:
Education as FH/ETH Architect, certified construction manager, HF technician in building construction or comparable higher technical qualification
Several years of experience in project management or client representation of demanding new build and renovation projects
Solid knowledge in residential construction, building in existing stock and execution phase up to handover
Very good knowledge of SIA standards, contracts, warranty services and Swiss construction processes
Experience in cost, schedule, quality, contract and change order management
Expertise in sustainable building, energetic renovation and life cycle assessments is an advantage
Very good German language skills for contract management, project reports, meeting moderation and negotiations
