Medical Caregiver 80-100%
Exciting tasks await:
- Care of refugees and responsibility for the orderly operation of the assigned accommodation
- Contact person for medical questions and management of files with a medical background
- Centre administration (client database, billing, correspondence, etc.) and co-responsible for file management
- Accompanying refugees in everyday life and supporting the integration process where provided
- Contact with local authorities, doctors/hospitals and volunteers
What you bring:
- Completed vocational training in the medical field (e.g. medical practice assistant or health professional) with several years of professional experience
- Experience in a caregiving role in the social and/or health sector desired
- Confident German (spoken and written) as well as good oral language skills in English and French
- Good MS Office skills as well as a valid driving licence category B and availability of your own vehicle
- High social competence, ability to work in a team and a confident, articulate manner in dealing with people from diverse cultural backgrounds

The Cantonal Social Service is responsible for public social assistance, asylum and refugee affairs as well as victim counselling and victim support. It is the appeals authority in the area of social assistance and supports municipalities in implementing their family and senior policies. In doing so, we work closely with other administrative offices, municipalities, other cantons, the federal government and third-party organisations.
