Role:

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a committed and responsible professional for project management in building construction with a focus on architecture, construction planning, and construction execution. You will independently lead demanding building construction projects from planning to successful realisation and ensure coordinated project management. The focus is on overall project management, coordination of clients, specialist planners, and contractors, as well as cost, schedule, and quality management. The position offers diverse construction projects, short decision-making paths, and the opportunity to shape challenging construction projects with a high degree of personal responsibility in a collegial team.

Responsibilities:

• Independent project management of demanding building construction projects from planning through project design to construction realisation

• Overall coordination of project processes ensuring structured and efficient collaboration of all parties involved

• Central contact person for clients regarding planning, technical, organisational, and project-specific questions

• Coordination of architects, specialist planners, and contractors with alignment of planning and execution services

• Cost, schedule, and quality management monitoring agreed project goals and initiating appropriate measures in case of deviations

• Creation and monitoring of project and schedule plans to ensure timely project execution

• Control and supervision of construction planning reviewing planning status, technical interfaces, and execution documents

• Organisation and leadership of project and construction meetings coordinating participants and following up on agreed measures

• Supervision of construction execution controlling agreed quality requirements and coordinating with local site management

• Development and evaluation of project optimisations considering technical, economic, and scheduling conditions

• Support in tendering and awarding processes coordinating contractor offers and technical clarifications

• Accompaniment of project completions and handovers coordinating inspections, documentation, and open project issues

Qualifications:

• Completed training as an architect FH, technician HF in construction planning architecture, or construction manager or a comparable construction-technical qualification

• Experience in planning, coordination, or realisation of building construction projects with understanding of the requirements of Swiss construction practice

• Good technical and organisational understanding of construction planning, project processes, and collaboration of various disciplines

• Strong cost, schedule, and quality awareness with the ability to pursue project goals independently and solution-oriented

• High initiative and sense of responsibility as well as a structured, reliable, and forward-looking working style

• Organisational skills, teamwork, and confident appearance with enjoyment in coordinating different project participants and direct communication

• Good German language skills in spoken and written form for professional collaboration with clients, specialist planners, contractors, and authorities
