Civil Engineer (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF105,000 - 110,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced professional as Project Manager: Civil Engineering & Infrastructure for the planning and realisation of diverse infrastructure projects. You will largely independently handle projects in municipal civil engineering, infrastructure construction and urban drainage from the initial concept study through planning and tendering to execution and commissioning. You will take on the technical and economic project responsibility and coordinate clients, authorities, specialists and contractors. The position combines classic civil engineering planning and project management with cost, schedule and quality control.
Responsibilities:
Independent management and handling of projects in municipal civil engineering and infrastructure construction
Planning and design of road, utility and development projects
Handling projects in urban drainage, especially sewers and drainage systems
Project management from concept and feasibility study through planning and tendering to realisation
Development of variant studies, technical concepts and decision-making bases
Preparation and coordination of project, tender and execution documents
Conducting or accompanying tenders, bid comparisons and awards
Responsibility for cost planning, schedule control and quality assurance
Technical support during construction execution, acceptance and commissioning
Coordination with municipalities, authorities, utility owners, specialist planners and experts
Consulting and support of clients and principals throughout the entire project process
Ensuring project execution in accordance with relevant SIA standards and Swiss civil engineering regulations
Qualifications:
Completed studies as a Civil Engineer FH or training/continuing education as a Civil Engineering Site Manager
Professional experience in planning or realisation of civil engineering and infrastructure projects
Knowledge in municipal civil engineering, utility construction and/or urban drainage
Experience in planning, tendering and construction execution is an advantage
Knowledge in cost, schedule and project management
Good knowledge of relevant Swiss standards and civil engineering regulations
