Cloud & IoT Software Engineer (m/f/d)

Role:
An exciting engineering position for a technically skilled individual who wants to combine modern software development with cloud and IoT technologies. We are looking for someone who understands complex technical contexts and enjoys reliably and continuously developing data-based applications.
You will work on a modern software platform that processes production and machine data and generates valuable information for customers. In addition to developing new components, responsibility for quality, performance, and stable operation is also part of the role.
Responsibilities:
Development and further development of cloud-based software solutions for processing and utilisation of IoT and production data
Implementation of new application functions along the technical and product roadmap
Development of backend services with C#/.NET and web applications based on Angular and TypeScript
Integration and operation of Azure services as well as further development of the underlying cloud architecture
Monitoring applications, analysing performance and error patterns, and continuous technical improvement
Establishment of modern engineering practices such as Shift Left, Test First, and automated quality assurance
Qualifications:
Several years of practical experience in software development and operation of cloud-based applications
Very good knowledge of C#/.NET and experience in developing modern web applications with Angular and TypeScript
Experience with Microsoft Azure, especially Functions, App Services, IoT services, and comparable PaaS components
Good knowledge of relational databases such as Azure SQL or Microsoft SQL Server
Enthusiasm for complex technical systems, automation, and modern AI or agentic coding approaches
Fluent German skills, high independence and quality orientation, as well as willingness to spend most of the working time on site
