Senior DevOps & Datacenter Network Engineer (m/f/d)
The UV inkjet systems from our ROCKEN partner are based on the following principles: Swiss quality, high precision, and a robust, modular design with a variety of practical applications. They print on almost all common materials, often also on unusual substrates. All this creates design freedom and competitive advantages for the user.
Role:
Our client develops and produces technically sophisticated systems for international markets. A stable, automated infrastructure forms the basis for efficient development processes and reliable platform services. In this senior role, you combine profound Linux and Kubernetes expertise with modern network architecture. You consistently drive automation forward and actively shape the technical foundation for scalable and highly available applications.
Responsibilities:
Responsibility for the stable operation and continuous development of Kubernetes environments
Ensuring a powerful and highly available on-premises platform for internal development teams
Development and maintenance of automated build, integration, and deployment pipelines
Implementation of GitOps-based deployments and declarative infrastructure changes
Analysis, optimisation, and automation of the physical network environment in the datacentre
Automation of maintenance tasks, system updates, and network configurations
Management of infrastructure definitions and configurations in version control systems
Qualifications:
Completed studies in computer science or an equivalent technical qualification
Several years of experience in Linux system administration and productive Kubernetes operation
Very good knowledge of modern datacentre networks, Layer 3 routing, and overlay network technologies
Practical knowledge in GitOps, CI/CD, and end-to-end automation of deployments and infrastructure
Experience with declarative approaches as well as version control as a central source for infrastructure configurations
High accuracy, an independent and structured working style, and enjoyment of teamwork
Good German skills and sufficient English skills for professional communication
