Technical Documentation Manager (m/f/d)

Role:
In this versatile role, you take on the responsibility for technical documentation, standards management, and after-sales processes. You ensure that product information, technical documents, and system data are current, complete, and compliant with standards, and actively contribute to the optimisation of digital service processes. You work closely with various departments and support the continuous development of technical systems and documentation standards.
Responsibilities:
Management and continuous development of standards and certification management, including maintenance of relevant specifications
Organisation and preparation of safety training as well as creation of the associated technical documents
Creation, updating, and maintenance of operating instructions, spare parts catalogues, and other technical documentation
Support and optimisation of CAD, ERP, and product data structures as well as ensuring a consistent data basis
Development and administration of a digital service and customer portal, including e-service and e-shop functions
Analysis and optimisation of existing documentation and after-sales processes to increase efficiency and service quality
Close collaboration with development, production, service, and other departments on technical issues
Qualifications:
Completed technical basic training, for example as a designer, mechanic or comparable qualification with a Federal VET Diploma (EFZ)
Further training as a technician HF or comparable higher technical education is an advantage
Several years of professional experience in technical documentation, product data management, or after sales is desirable
Experience with CAD and ERP systems, ideally Autodesk Inventor and comparable applications
Strong understanding of technical documentation, data structures, and standards
Analytical thinking as well as structured, independent, and entrepreneurial working style
Quick comprehension, high initiative, and enthusiasm for optimising technical processes
Team-oriented personality with strong communication skills
Fluent German language skills
