Senior Project Manager Ventilation (m/f/d)

Role:

On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced professional as Senior Project Manager Ventilation / Air Conditioning for an established company in the field of ventilation system construction, air conditioning technology, and technical building equipment. You will take on the technical and commercial overall responsibility for demanding ventilation and air conditioning projects from order placement through work preparation and installation to successful handover. The focus is on execution planning, project management, installation coordination, as well as responsibility for costs, deadlines, and quality. The position combines sound HVAC expertise, independent project management, and practical system construction with diverse projects and the support of an experienced installation team.

Responsibilities:

• Independent overall project management of ventilation and air conditioning system projects from order placement to commissioning, acceptance, and handover

• Technical and commercial responsibility for own projects including budget planning, cost control, change management, and project accounting

• Work preparation (AVOR) and execution coordination including creation of installation schedules, material disposition, and resource planning

• Technical review and coordination of execution and installation planning for ventilation systems, air distribution, and air conditioning systems

• Dimensioning and technical assessment of ventilation components such as air ducts, fans, air handling units, and air outlets

• Leadership and coordination of installation teams as well as monitoring proper execution and compliance with internal quality standards

• Scheduling and capacity planning including monitoring of execution deadlines and coordination with other trades on site

• Coordination of internal and external project participants from planning, installation, suppliers, architecture, and clients

• Participation in construction and coordination meetings as well as technical consulting of clients, architects, and specialist planners

• Material procurement and supplier coordination including checking technical specifications, ordering, and delivery date monitoring

• Quality assurance and technical inspections considering relevant SIA standards, energy efficiency requirements, and system-specific specifications

• Organisation and support of commissioning, functional tests, and acceptance including defect management, documentation, and handover to clients

Qualifications:

• Completed training as a building services planner ventilation EFZ or equivalent recognised training in ventilation and air conditioning technology

• Several years of professional experience in planning and execution of ventilation and air conditioning system projects with proven project management responsibility

• Sound expertise in ventilation system construction, especially air distribution, system components, installation processes, and technical execution coordination

• Experience in technical and commercial project management including work preparation, cost control, schedule management, and installation supervision

• Further training as a technician HF building services or engineer FH building services is an advantage

• Confident handling of MS Office as well as basic CAD knowledge for technical plan processing and project coordination

• Good German language skills in spoken and written form as well as experience in technical communication with clients, architects, and specialist planners
